We travelled through Switzerland for 10 days, covering all the key highlights, and what we learnt is simple: pacing is everything. Instead of rushing through multiple cities, we chose fewer bases – just three – and let Switzerland unfold around us. Scenic trains replaced tiring travel days, and there was time to sit by lakes, watch landscapes from train windows, and truly take it all in.
